Pottery without a Wheel
D o you have a group of friends who would like to try pottery without a wheel? If yes then read on:
- half or whole day workshops
- all materials and equipment provided
- Venue: National Herb Centre, Warmington, near Banbury
- Max Group 10, min group 6
- restaurant available or bring sandwiches
- no previous experience required.
These events are run with a maximum of 6 students.
Individuals will have the opportunity to work with clay and use coiling and slab work to form individual items which at an additional minimal cost may be fired.
All equipment will be provided.
Prices from £30. Please bring an apron or old clothes.
Or, how about....
One to One tuition in a friendly environment for beginners or those wishing to practice or improve their throwing technique. All materials equipment and firing cost (to bisque) provided. Refreshments included. Starting time of 10.00am finish at 1.00pm. Refreshments, materials and bisque firing charges includes in the cost of £50. Please bring an apron or old clothes.
1-1 Throwing on a potter's wheel for the whole day
To be arranged individually.
Really get to grips with exploring your creative side for a whole day from 10.00 to 4.00pm throwing on the wheel. All materials, firing costs (to bisque), refreshments and a light lunch included in the cost of £95. Please bring an apron or old clothes.
